CBK Launches Drop Ship Program
By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 11/12/2008 11:20:00 AM
Union City, TN — Gift and home decor vendor CBK debuted a new Consumer Drop Ship Program. The new program allows CBK customers with or without brick and mortar stores to expand their product offerings with no inventory investment.
CBK provides customers with a file of item information and images to be loaded onto their retail websites. These updates can be transmitted daily, weekly, or monthly as the retailer chooses.
When a consumer orders a CBK item, the retailer sends the order to CBK. CBK processes and ships the order to the consumer and sends a shipping confirmation to the retailer so they can let the consumer know. CBK guarantees that it will ship product within four business days.
This is a great break for retailers. I remember
wishing there was a way I could do just that when
I was struggling with a retail store in the 90's.
I hope other manufacturers will follow their lead.

It is a great idea but how can they afford to do this without charging us higher prices and extra shipping fees? How can I offer this to my customers as part of their total order if they have to pay extra shipping beyond what I would charge them for other product?

Great Idea! (especially in these economic times)
