GCA Winter Meeting Set for February

Washington, DC —The Greeting Card Association’s Open Winter Board meeting will be held in Washington, DC at the Hotel Monaco, formerly the DC General Post Office, February 23–24. The meeting will include guest speakers, committee meetings and updates on issues affecting the industry. Committee meetings will be held on Monday, February 23 from 4–5 p.m. followed by a reception at 5:30 p.m. for GCA members and invited guests from Captiol Hill and the postal community including the U.S. Postal Service, the Postal Regulatory Commission and the Mailers Council. On Tuesday, February 24, there will be a buffet breakfast at 8:30 a.m. before the Open Board Meeting from 9–10 a.m. The General Session will follow from 10 a.m.–noon.
The registration fee is $200 if you register by Friday, February 6 and $250 if you register by February 17. For information, contact Kimbra Morgan at (202) 393-1778, ext. 1118.
For hotel reservations, call (800) 649-1202 or (202) 628-7177 and mention you are with the GCA to get the special rate. Rates are $269 for a single or double. The deadline for reservations is Monday, January 26.
