New York — Crystal, jewelry and perfume manufacturer, Lalique, and porcelain manufacturer Haviland have a joined their U.S. operations. “This partnership is designed to co-manage both companies as two separate entities, taking advantage of mutual synergies and increasing efficiency,” said Maz Zouhairi, CEO of Lalique’s North American operations.
Zouhairi will step in to the role of CEO of Haviland, as well as maintain his current position of CEO of Lalique North America. The partnership will bring several changes and additions, including joint boutiques and optimizing sales and marketing initiatives, as well as combining warehouse space, shipping systems and general operations.
Lalique and Haviland share a long history together. Suzanne Lalique, daughter of René Lalique, married Paul Haviland 90 years ago. Suzanne went on to become a noted artist herself. The couple worked together creatively and Suzanne was able to work as both a porcelain and glass designer.
