By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 11/23/2009 9:51:00 AM

Folk artist Jim Shore licensed his work to stationery and gift vendor C.R. Gibson for a line of photo, home and gift products set to debut at select winter markets, including Atlanta AmericasMart, Dallas Total Home & Gift Market and the New York International Gift Fair. Shore himself will appear in Atlanta on Friday, January 8, at 1 p.m. in the C.R. Gibson showroom, Building 2, Suite 1837. C.R. Gibson will showcase Shore’s artwork on photo albums, address books, notecards, gift bags, paper tableware and a kitchen collection featuring a recipe binder, recipe box, recipe cards, coupon keeper, shopping list pad and ceramic trivet. All C.R. Gibson licensed product and ordering information will be available after December 14.

ESC Trading Company Inc. will debut new licensed designs by nationally known folk artist Nicol Sayre for both Halloween and Christmas 2010 at the winter markets in Atlanta, Dallas, Philadelphia and New York. Sayre's art is reminiscent of the mid-1800s. The company offers a sensational assortment of hand-painted, sculpted figurines and signs, along with hand-crafted art dolls, pillows, and accents.

All Art Licensing presents Professional Creators Licensing Series Collections & Presentations Package with 107 Product Templates, a $65 instructional package designed to teach artists how to create art licensing collections and sales presentations for manufacturers and retailers. The releases come on the heels of the recent launch of All Art Licensing, a division of J’net Smith Inc.

CopCorp Licensing announced new Pink Cookie Design giftware licensees in Europe. In the United Kingdom, Corsair Toiletries has been granted the rights to produce Pink Cookie Fragrance, Body Sprays, Toiletry Gifts, Cosmetic Gifts, and Hair Accessories. Peers Hardy has been granted the rights to produce Pink Cookie Watches, Clocks, Jewelry, and Gift Items. Both of these deals were brokered by DRi Licensing as appointed sub-agent for Pink Cookie Design in the U.K. In Germany, United Labels AG has been granted the rights to manufacture and market Pink Cookie Gift Items including Bags, Ceramics, Clocks and Watches, Collectible Boxes, Drinking Glasses, Keychains, Keybags, Picture Frames, Placemats, and Tableware as well as various apparel categories.

Looking Good Licensing added nature artist Kevin Daniel and eclectic artist Louise Reinoehl Max to the company’s stable of licensing clients.

4Kids Entertainment was named the licensing agent for QUINTS, the line of five two-inch dolls from the early 1990s. 4Kids Entertainment will seek a global master toy licensee to produce the 21st Century version of these kids, originally produced and distributed by Tyco Toys (which was ultimately acquired by Mattel). In addition, the organization will be soliciting licenses in several key categories to extend the line beyond the dolls. Merry Loomis, daughter of Bernard Loomis, worked with her late father, a toy executive, to create the line in 1989. Loomis reunited with original QUINTS inventors Chris Ericson and Vinny Baiera for the brand reintroduction. 4Kids was also named licensing agent for merchandise based on the Mini NinjasT action adventure video game from Eidos Interactive. 4Kids also appointed Exim Licensing Group and Tycoon Enterprises as licensing agents in Latin America and Mexico respectively for Amberwood Entertainment’s computer generated animated series Rollbots. Wild Pumpkin Licensing International will represent the property in Australia and New Zealand and Segal Licensing will serve as the Canadian licensing agent.
