White Plains, NY — Presented by the International Pen Association (IPA), the Pen Pavilion will make a return engagement at the National Stationery Show in May 2007. Showcasing a broad collection of fine writing instruments, the Pavilion provides an added dimension to the show and offers retailers the opportunity to shop the category brand by brand in an easy and efficient manner.
“Participating in the National Stationery Show presents a great opportunity for the IPA to build greater awareness of the writing instruments category,” said Terry Wiederlight, IPA chair and owner of the Fountain Pen Hospital. “Attendees will discover special displays by most of the leading writing instruments brands, as well as many boutique-style pen brands. This year’s Pen Pavilion will also be expanded to include accessories, providing added value and selection for attendees.”
The Pen Pavilion, to be located at the far end of 3700–4000 aisles, will feature nearly 30 companies, including such well known names as Cole, Dunhill, Faber-Castell USA Inc., Fine Writing/Visconti, Menash Signatures/Ducati, Shaeffer Pen and Woodessen.
“The Pen Pavilion presents a wonderful enhancement to the social stationery merchandise and complementary product resources presented at the National Stationery Show,” said Patti Stracher, show manager. “Retailing writing instruments within the mix of social stationery and related products offers great profit potential to our buying audience.”
The National Stationery Show, presented by George Little Management, will be held May 20–23, 2007, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
