White Plains, NY – George Little Management (GLM) will take over managing the Greeting Card Association (GCA) effective August 1, at the conclusion of the current management contract with The Kellen Company.
According to a letter from Doug Faust, president of GCA, Jack Withiam, GLM senior vice president and general counsel, will be the new executive director of the Greeting Card Association. Withiam has served on the GCA Executive Committee since 2001.
GCA expects the transition to take six months, so that GLM will be managing all the association's activities by the October Annual GCA Convention.
Said Faust, "I would like to personally thank The Kellen Company and Valerie Cooper, Mila Albertson, Kimbra Morgan, and Linda Jobs for their service and dedication to The Greeting Card Association and its members. We have enjoyed our partnership with them and are grateful for the leadership and guidance they've demonstrated during our years of partnership."
