White Plains, NY -- Move over American Idol, here comes the "American Icon" -- a car adorned with more than one million Swarovski crystals depicting iconic American imagery. The crystals, all arranged by hand, are in 50 shades, representing the 50 United States.
The car, which will celebrate launch of a crystal greeting card line by CrystalArt, will be on display at the upcoming National Stationery Show, May 20-23, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The greeting card line represents a new trend in luxury social stationery, according to the company.

The car will be on display in Booth 1452, where show attendees also will discover the company’s new line of crystal-highlighted greeting cards in the adjacent booth, 1448.
“We’re excited to introduce ‘American Icon’ to the social stationery industry and anticipate great buzz on the show floor as a result of this stunning attraction,” says Patti Stracher, show manager. The 61st annual National Stationery Show -- which is owned and managed by George Little Management -- will feature 1,400 exhibitors and attract some 14,000 attendees. A complete list of exhibitors, in addition to registration, is availableonline, at www.nationalstationeryshow.com.
