Catherine David joined home furnishings retail chain Pier 1, Fort Worth, TX, as executive vice president - merchandising, according to Home Textiles Today. David most recently served as president and chief operating officer for Kirkland’s. Previous employers include retailers Sears, The Great Indoors and Target, as well as the Burnes Group, a photo frame and accessories supplier.

Gift vendors FRINGE & Punch Studio, Culver City, CA, appointed Jenny Hammons/Company as their sales representative for the companies’ territories in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington state.

Sharon Graubard, former vice president and creative director of ESP Trendlab, joined New York-based Stylesight as senior vice president, trend analysis. Stylesight describes itself as a provider of trend forecasting and product development tools for creative professionals in the fashion and style industries.
