Tradeshow management MMPI promoted Su Hilty to vice president of marketing for permanent showroom

building 7 W New York, effective immediately. Hilty will be responsible for providing senior level direction and management of 7 W’s internal and external marketing activities. Hilty was recently named president of the New York Chapter of the International Furnishings & Design Association. She is also a member of the Home Products Advisory board of FIT, and on the board of Gift for Life, the gift and home industry charity that raises money for AIDS research and education.

Giftware vendor Enesco LLC appointed Linda Simpson as the company’s vice president of creative services.

Simpson reports to Sujata Luther, Enesco managing partner and executive vice president. Simpson will lead the global creative and design function at Enesco and Department 56, and expand Enesco’s licensing initiatives and relationships with outside artists. She formerly served as vice president of product development at Demdaco’s Silvestri division.

CowParade recently appointed Charley Tull as national sales manager of the company’s inaugural wholesaling venture. CowParade ended its 10 year license with Westland Giftware in May of last year and is now selling its own figurines based on the global public art project.

Retail design firm CBX expanded into specialty retail and department store design and hired a new team. The team includes Peter Burgoyne as creative director. He will be responsible for programming, concept creation, design and design development. Prior to CBX, Burgoyne held positions with Callison Architecture, RYA Design Consultancy and Jones Apparel Group, all in New York City. Kieran Jason Hackett has been named senior vice president, brand activation retail environments. He comes to CBX from The Rockwell Group, New York City. Dimitri Vermès has been named vice president for CBX. Most recently, Vermès served as vice president with RYA Design Consultancy. Joon Kyu Whang was named managing director, Korea. Prior to joining CBX, he was vice president and managing director at RYA Design Consultancy.
