L.A. Mart

L.A. Mart has named several new hires in its marketing team, effective immediately. James Wilson and Victoria Rhea Harding come to the L.A. Mart with decades of sales and customer service experience as well as deep knowledge of the gift and home industry.

Prior to joining L.A. Mart, Wilson worked at J.T.A., Inc. as showroom and key accounts manager, where his primary responsibility was sales and client management, successfully representing more than 20 different furniture manufacturers. Before J.T.A, he served in sales, customer service and merchandising positions with Christopher Radko, Richard S. Smith and Louis Vuitton.

Rhea Harding comes to the L.A. Mart from the California Gift Show where she served as divisional sales manager for the Jewelry Cash and Carry, Vintage and World Style divisions. During her tenure, she helped penetrate new markets while earning business and cultivated customer loyalty.

"James and Victoria bring not only a wealth of knowledge to the L.A. Mart but are both very well-respected in the industry," said Frank Joens, senior vice president and general manager, L.A. Mart. "Since they already have solid relationships with many of our gift and home showrooms, they can hit the ground running and help us continue the positive momentum of cementing the L.A. Mart as the premier shopping destination for our discerning west coast clientele."

Candle Warmers

Former Hallmark associate home fragrance buyer, Amanda Wrigley, has joined the Candle Warmers' sales team as an account representative. She will also take on the position of brand manager for the candle manufacturer's Jamie Clair candles, wax melts, and home fragrance oils.
In her new position, Wrigley will serve as a primary contact between CWE and various mass distribution accounts to support sales team goals and targets. On the brand management side, Wrigley will use her former experience at Hallmark and as a corporate merchandising manager at Coach to help expand the vision and direction of CWE's Jamie Clair line.

Victorian Heart Company
Kristine Dunlevy has been named national field sales manager at Victorian Heart Company, home of Bella Taylor handbags, Lasting Impressions bedding/throws, and Nancy's Nook home décor including kitchen, window, holiday and braided rugs.

Formerly with OneCoast and Gund, Inc., Dunlevy will continue to be based in Ohio and will be responsible for building a sales team nationwide by region or state.

California Market Center

Kelsey Riley has joined California Market Center (CMC) Leasing as its view tradeshow manager. "Kelsey is already proving to be a valuable asset to our team, bringing a fresh outlook and great enthusiasm to the job. We are thrilled to have her, and are looking forward to a successful 2013!" said Gerry Seibel, vice president of new business development for Gift and Home.

Launching January 2013, VIEW IS LA's new Gift & Home Tradeshow, spotlighting a juried showcase of temporary exhibitors for the Gift & Home Market, featured every January and July. Providing a refreshing and modern alternative to overwhelming convention-type shows, VIEW will bridge the gap between fashion, kids, and gift & home, offering even more resources in the CMC's loft-style Penthouse, adjacent to the premier showrooms hosting the CMC Gift & Home Market in Los Angeles.
