CERF+ Raises Funds at Buyers Market of American Craft

BALTIMORE, MD—CERF+, a national artists' service organization, raised $3,300 by selling raffle tickets during the Buyers Market of American Craft show in Philadelphia, now known as the American Made Show. The monies raised will go towards nonprofit's programs, services and recovery efforts.

"By making the raffle possible, the Buyers Market gave CERF+ a fantastic opportunity to not only raise needed funds, but also to connect face to face with makers and buyers of American craft," said Cornelia Carey, executive director of CERF+.

Two winners won free hotel accommodations and free booth space at next year's American Made Show in Washington, D.C., scheduled for January 16-19, 2015.

Buyer Nancy Landwehr of The Spirited Hand gallery in Canton, CT, won free hotel accommodations and exhibiting jewelry artist Nancy Blair of Denver, CO, won free booth space at the January show.
