Toy Fair numbers up

NEW YORK—Attendance at last month’s American International Toy Fair was up 10 percent over 2007’s edition, helped by a 12 percent jump in buyers, the Toy Industry Association said today.
More than 13,000 buyers attended the 105th annual Toy Fair to view products from the show’s 1,211 exhibiting companies, according to TIA. The show's total attendance, which includes retail buyers, trade guests and media, was 18,305.
