MALIBU, Calif.—Jakks Pacific will expand its line of fashion dolls featuring country music star Taylor Swift in Spring 2010 with new product and wider distribution, the toymaker said today.
The Taylor Swift Performance Collection Doll Assortment features dolls that sing a 30 second highlight from one of five of Swift’s hit songs—“Our Song,” “Teardrops on My Guitar,” “Picture to Burn,” “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me.” Each doll is dressed in an outfit replicating what Swift wore in the song’s music video, plus comes with accessories, including a guitar and hair brush.
The Taylor Swift Fashion Collection Doll Assortment features outfits worn by Taylor at award shows, TV appearances and concerts. The assortment includes the “Sundress Medley Doll,” “Red Carpet Ready Doll,” “Pretty in Pink Doll” and the “Camera Ready Doll.”
Taylor Swift Fashion Packs are outfits based on real looks worn by Taylor Swift, including shoes and accessories. The outfits include the “Blender Magazine Fashion,” “Dance in the Rain Fashion,” “Pink Sundress Fashion,” and “Yellow Sundress Fashion.”
The Taylor Swift Fashion Wardrobe Set, a storage case, stores all of the Taylor Swift doll fashions and comes with one complete outfit, including boots, shoes, handbag and hangers.
The Song Recording Studio playset comes with a recording chair, microphone, head set, laptop, picture frame and rug.
Jakks launched the Taylor Swift doll line at Walmart. It will expand distribution to other national retail chains in spring.
Does not play for 30 seconds, try 6 seconds, and this was with two different dolls
