Brilliant Sky expands HQ

EAST LANSING, Mich.—Specialty toy store franchisor TT&B is building a new corporate center and flagship store for its Brilliant Sky Toys & Books retail brand to better accommodate the company’s growth.
The new facility in Okemos, Mich., will house not only the flagship Brilliant Sky Toys & Books retail store, but also the corporate offices for their franchise operations, an expanded franchisee training facility, and a fulfillment center for the company’s online business.
The company expects to move into its new digs in September.
"We’re thrilled that our significant growth in the last 12 months has created both the need and the opportunity for an expanded corporate facility." said Brent Taylor, President and CEO of TT&B Inc. “This move will make us a stronger brand, a stronger retailer, and a stronger franchisor. This is a tremendous step forward that will benefit all Brilliant Sky stores throughout our system.”
TT&B began franchising under the Brilliant Sky name in January 2007, and has stores in Michigan, Arizona, North Carolina, Iowa, Illinois and Texas. Discussions are underway in several key markets throughout the U.S., with additional deals anticipated in 2009, the company said.
