Jay Jay gets a British licensor

LOS ANGLES — Jay Jay The Jet Plane producer Porchlight Entertainment has signed London-based licensing agent, The Partnership, to launch a merchandising and licensing campaign for the preschool television series in the United Kingdom.

The Partnership has already announced signing two UK licensees for the property: Benjamin Toys Ltd., which will distribute Action Products' current line of Jay Jay play sets in the British market; and Travelstyle, which will offer backpacks and kid-sized luggage.

Jay Jay The Jet Plane debuted as a daily series on the U.K.'s Channel 5 last fall.
