-- Gifts and Dec, 1/8/2010 10:48:00 AM

NEW YORK—Former Toy Industry Association public relations executive Julie Livingston is partnering with marketing communications firm Child’s Play Communications in a “strategic alliance” offering public relations and social media efforts to toy and children’s entertainment manufacturers and retailers.

“I am thrilled to partner with Stephanie Azzarone and her team at Child’s Play Communications. Our combined passion for toys and youth entertainment products, media connections and established industry relationships will provide tremendous value to clients,” Livingston said of the relationship.

Livingston spent six years at TIA, acting primarily as the trade association’s spokesperson. During the period, global media attendance and coverage for the association’s marquee event, Toy Fair, doubled.

Child’s Play Communications is an agency that specializes in connecting companies with the highly influential mom market. For more than 20 years. Child’s Play has offered a broad range of strategic services targeted to the way moms live, including public relations, one to one contact and since 2006, social media.

Child’s Play’s Stephanie Azzarone is a contributing blogger to Playthings.com.
