WAYNE, N.J. — Camp Geoffrey began yesterday, part of a summertime effort by Toys 'R' Us to draw more customers into its stores as well as give parents a place where they can bond with their kids through various activities.
Each day at Camp Geoffrey will feature a different theme and activities, like creating books or building birdhouses. The activities are free and some include a free gift for kids.
The "camp" will continue every Wednesday through Saturday until July 17, from noon through 2:00 PM. The company has also posted details about each day's events at http://www.campgeoffrey.com.
