NKOK adds rights for Sega characters

By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 12/8/2009 12:34:00 PM

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.—NKOK has entered into a licensing agreement with Sega of America for a line of radio-controlled vehicles and slot car racing sets based on the upcoming Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing video game.

NKOK currently plans to release products in North American timed to the game’s launch in early 2010.

“Sega has had a wonderful history of introducing exciting brands and characters to gaming audiences around the world. With the release of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing we’re extremely excited to bring these evergreen characters to life through our product offering,” said Kohsche Koh, President of NKOK.

Sega’s Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing video game finds players portraying iconic Sega characters in a fast and furious battle to the finish line set amid medieval castle ramparts, lush rain forests, bustling cities and other environments taken from the varied universes of Sonic and other Sega games.
