KB names VPs for new departments

PITTSFIELD, Mass. — KB Toys has appointed vice presidents responsible for finance, real estate and loss prevention as the retailer rebuilds infrastructrure lost during its separation from former parent firm Consolidated Stores.
David MacPhee, newly named vice president, finance controller, will head the company's treasury department, as well as inventory control, accounts payable and financial service. MacPhee will continue to be responsible for the budgeting, reporting and accounting departments.
Steve Dodds has joined KB as vice president, real estate. Dodds joins the toy retailer from The Bombay Co., the mall-based home décor retailer.
Steve Forgette has joined KB as vice president, loss prevention, from men's clothing retailer Bernini Inc.
