WIT names Wonder Women nominees

NEW YORK—Women In Toys has announced the slate of nominees for the fourth annual Wonder Women of Toys awards.
The awards, created by WIT and Playthings magazine, will be given out on Feb. 17, 2007, at WIT’s annual gala during the American International Toy Fair. This year's program includes two new categories, Licensor/Licensing Agent and Consultant, in addition to existing categories Manufacturer, Retailer, Inventor/Designer, Entrepreneur and Women to Watch.
Additional nominations may be submitted via the Women In Toys website through Friday, Nov. 30. A panel of judges comprised of toy business executives will meet to choose and announce the winners in mid-December.
