Nominations begin for 2010 Wonder Women awards

NEW YORK—Women In Toys has begun accepting nominations for the 2010 Wonder Women of Toys, Licensing and Entertainment Awards.

The sixth annual Wonder Women awards will include nominees in the following categories: Manufacturer, Retailer, Licensor, Licensing Agent, Consultant, Entrepreneur, Inventor/Designer, Green, Women to Watch and Women In Memoriam.

The deadline for nominations is Nov. 30, 2009. Qualified nominees will be listed in both the print and online editions of Playthings magazine shortly thereafter. For additional information about nominating someone for a Wonder Women award, click here.

The awards will be bestowed at the Wonder Women of Toys, Licensing and Entertainment Awards Dinner on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at the Penn Club in New York City. 

Winners will be profiled in Playthings’ May 2010 issue.
