McClure joins Senario

By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 11/12/2008 3:22:00 PM

WOODSTOCK, Ill.—Toy and children’s entertainment products maker Senario has appointed kid business veteran Tom McClure as vice president of marketing.

McClure will be responsible for leading the product development and marketing efforts on all Senario brands, including Huru Humi, My Secret Circle, Botokon, Mega Vu and Vu-Me. He will manage Senario’s various brand management, merchandising, and creative teams under the direction of Senario CEO Mike Nakamura.

McClure joins Senario from Midway Games, where he served as director of marketing. Previous to Midway, McClure managed product development and marketing at Playmates Toys. He began his career in youth consumer marketing at Hasbro.

“We are very pleased to have Tom join the Senario team,” said Nakamura. “His impressive expertise in marketing to tweens will be a great asset to Senario as we continue to develop new product lines and market our extensive licensing program.”
