Learning Curve plans Super Why! push

Out of the Blue EnterprisesOAK BROOK, Ill.—RC2 Corp.’s Learning Curve Brands has been named master toy licensee for Out of the Blue EnterprisesSuper Why! television series.

Learning Curve will begin offering an “extensive” line of original products based on the reading-focused property starting in late 2008. The program will fully flower in 2009. The assortment will include plush, figures, vehicles, playsets and electronic learning aids.

"The Super Why! property is a perfect fit for Learning Curve," said Peter Henseler, RC2’s president. "Developmental play has been a hallmark of our brand since its inception and we're excited to bring early literacy skills and reading readiness into the mix of developmental play at Learning Curve via Super Why!."

Super Why! airs on PBS Kids.
