LAS VEGAS—In news coming out of this year's Consumer Electronics Show, Cartoon Network Enterprises has tapped Jazwares to produce the debut line of consumer electronics for Ben 10 Alien Force while Digital Blue has been tapped for CE products based on several other kid-friendly properties.

Jazwares’ Ben 10 Alien Force consumer electronics line will products that draw from key characters and items made popular by the series, including speakers, USB drives and digital cameras designed to look like Ben Tennyson’s Omnitrix, and an MP3 player modeled after one of Tennyson's most popular alien alter egos, Echo Echo. Launching at retail this spring, items in the Ben 10 Alien Force product line will range in price from $9.99 to $39.99.

“Combining innovation with some of today’s hottest entertainment properties to create interactive, affordable lifestyle electronics is what we do best,” said Laura Zebersky, executive vice president of sales and licensing for the Sunrise, Fla.-based toy and entertainment products manufacturer. “Partnering with Cartoon Network is exciting. We can’t wait to introduce our new line of electronics to the young fans of the popular Ben 10 Alien Force program.”

Ben 10 Alien Force airs on Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m., followed by replays throughout the week. Bandai is the property’s master toy licensee.

In other kid-related licensing news coming out of CES, Digital Blue has been tapped to market youth and teen-focused CE products, such as MP3 players, digital and video cameras, and alarm clock radios, among other items, based on Lego and its Bioncle brand, World Wrestling Entertainment and Bakugan.
