NEW YORK — Licensing agent Big Tent Entertainment is guiding a licensing and merchandising campaign for The Koala Brothers, a new animated series from former Bob the Builder executive producer Peter Curtis's new studio, Spellbound Entertainment Ltd.
Big Tent is currently signing North American licensees for the preschool property in categories such as toys, publishing and interactive.
The Koala Bothers centers on Frank and Buster, siblings who live in the Australian Outback amongst a menagerie of animal friends. The series' stories focus on teaching concepts such as sharing, caring and understanding.
Disney Channel will air The Koala Brothers in the U.S. during its Playhouse Disney preschool programming block starting next season.
