Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products signed its first licensing deal with IMC Toys, one of Spain’s largest consumer electronic companies, to launch a product inspired by preschool property Dora the Explorer in 33 European markets ... Stung by a 10 percent drop in fourth-quarter sales, RC2 launched a cost-savings plan that included a 15 percent reduction in its full-time white collar workforce. It next plans to pare its non-payroll operating expenses.
