API names specialty sales head

ORLANDO, Fla.—Action Products International ( API ) has appointed toy industry veteran Donna Sanders as national sales director for the specialty toy market.
In her new position, Sanders will be responsible for managing API's national network of individual sales representatives within the specialty toy market, and assisting in the company's product development and the creation of retailer promotions.
Sanders has an extensive background in the toy industry with previous positions at Zapf Creation, BRIO and most recently Regal Lager, an infant products distributor.
“With Sanders’ extensive experience in the specialty toy business, she will provide the strategic direction and leadership needed to increase the profitability of our brands in this sector,” says Jerome Sage, vice president of sales for API . “Sanders is truly an industry leader, and we are enthused about her joining the Action team.”
