BURBANK, Calif.—Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and company have a new home inJakarta,Indonesia's capital city,as the first DC Super Heroes boutique store opens its doors this month.

The shop is a collaboration with PT Superhero Indonesia, a privately owned company consisting of four partners with experience in design, manufacturing and operating various brands of fashion and licensed consumer products, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Comics. The DC Super Heroes boutique features a collection of DC-inspired apparel and accessories.

“Specially designed for the young, stylish and those looking for exciting lifestyle aspirations in Indonesia, the DC Super Heroes ready-to-wear and accessories are seen as hip fashion trend items geared toward the teens to adult market,” says Benarty Suhali of PT. “We are delighted to collaborate with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to launch our first DC Super Heroes retail concept in Jakarta, Indonesia. As consumers become more discerning and selective in the pursuit for their fashion needs, this new DC Super Heroes retail branding and concept will give them a choice to complement their lifestyle needs.”

Bianca Lee, general manager of Warner Bros. Consumer Products for China and Southeast Asia, adds, “DC’s legendary Super Heroes are deeply rooted icons in the entertainment industry, and now they are also set to become icons synonymous with fashion and stylishness for the new generation. It has been a great pleasure working with PT. With their strong experience in the fashion retail industry and in the Indonesian market, they are our ideal partner to launch this exciting retail concept."

PT will also collaborate with PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BCA), who has been licensed by Warner Bros. Consumer Products to issue the BCA Visa Credit Card featuring Batman and Looney Tunes characters.  Under the partnership, card members receive a discount of 20 percent off all merchandise until the end of July.

To celebrate the opening of the boutique, PT hosted a launch event to unveil its first collection, including a fashion catwalk at the flagship store. Two shops will open early February, with a third location scheduled to open by end of this month.
