Richter joins Cookie Jar

LOS ANGELES—Cookie Jar Entertainment has appointed long-time licensing executive Susan Richter vice president responsible for its U.S. licensing efforts effective immediately.
Richter joins Cookie Jar from Hasbro Properties Group, where she served as director of licensing for brands such as Transformers, Playskool, My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop, GI Joe and Tonka, among others. Prior to joining Hasbro, Richter was director of licensing at Fisher-Price. She began her career in licensing 16 years ago with positions in the apparel market.
“Susan Richter is a consummate licensing executive whose depth of experience, from preschool through girls, boys and tweens, is a perfect match for our growing portfolio of properties,” said John Gildea, Cookie Jar’s senior vice president of consumer products. “She will play a pivotal role in maximizing the potential of our extensive slate of innovative entertainment offerings.”
Cookie Jar’s properties include televisions series The Doodlebops, Caillou and Spider Riders.
