Hidden City names North American sales VP

By Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 12/15/2009 3:05:00 PM

SEATTLE—Hidden City Games has named sales veteran Dominick Magliaro as vice president of sales for North America.

Magliaro’s primary responsibilities will include increasing sales and expanding distribution in the United States and Canada, according to the company. His initial priorities will be to increase sales in existing accounts, identify additional distribution channels, develop new prospects and grow sales. Other tasks include designing and recommending sales programs and evaluating and implementing appropriate new sales techniques to increase sales volume.

“We are so pleased to have Dominick as a part of the Bella Sara team,” said Peter D. Adkison, CEO of Hidden City Games. “With an extensive knowledge of the industry and noteworthy accomplishments in his previous sales experience, we are confident he will help Bella Sara exceed expectations in the North American market.”

Magliaro brings with him more than 15 years experience in distribution, sales and licensing. Magliaro previously served as the vice president of hobby sales for Upper Deck, where he was instrumental in the sales and distribution strategies for their sports and entertainment properties, including the Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game.

Hidden City is the publisher of the Bella Sara trading card game and the property’s worldwide licensor.
