NSS Honors 2010 Best New Products

2010 National Stationery Show Best New Products winners displayNew York — The National Stationery Show (NSS) honored seven exhibitors with Best New Product Awards during the 64th annual National Stationery Show on its opening day, May 16, 2010. Winners in seven categories were selected from among 315 entries.

The 2010 Best New Product Award winners are:
• Desk Accessories: Wooster & Prince Papers, Seattle, for its Desktop Notes
• Lifestyle/Specialty Gift: Shannon Martin/Girl Designer, Seattle, for Holiday Bath Salts
• Luxury: Cartesian Graphics, Long Island City, NY, for Vintage Print Fabric Blank Cards
• Paper Craft/Scrapbooking: Ellison, Lake Forest, CA, for Sizzix Texture Boutique Embossing Machine
• Party: Hello Hanna, Menlo Park, CA, for Wishing Tree
• Social Stationery: Blackbird Press, Baton Rouge, LA, for Grizzly Bear Hug Card.
• Think Green: Michael Roger Press Inc., Middlesex, NJ, for Re-Bottled Journal

Entries were evaluated on the basis of innovative product design or concept, how the product answers an industry need, aesthetic appeal, creative use of materials and innovative packaging. The judging panel was made up of representatives of industry trade publications including Caroline Kennedy, editor-in-chief of Gifts & Decorative Accessories.
