Southern Link Acquires Fox Premier Sales

Atlanta — Sales agency The Southern Link acquired manufacturers' representative group Fox Premier Sales. Fox Premier will continue to conduct business under its current name, keep its present sales force, and operate its showroom in Atlanta. Marc Rice, president of Fox Premier Sales, will continue to lead his group.

Fred Rosenkampff, CEO of The Southern Link of GA, said in a statement, "One of the greatest outcomes of this acquisition will be the incredible strength of our combined management and key account teams to complement our solid sales force. We will have five sales managers, each with more than 20 years of sales experience, and eight key account managers."
"Our companies have always been good, friendly competitors," said Rice. "In addition, we've always enjoyed a mutual trust and respect that extends far beyond any normal competitive situation. Over time we realized much of our style, passions and beliefs complemented each other. We also realized our business goals were quite similar. It made sense to combine our efforts as we work to create something special for our people, our vendor partners and most importantly, our retail partners."

The Southern Link of GA was established in 1985 and has 59 regional sales managers covering 10 states.

This is far from the company's first acquisition: a buy out of McAlexander & Associates in 2002 helped form Link 2 Sales, and an acquisition of Southern Exposure's sales team and vendors established Southern Link Home in 2009.
