Garden City, NY-based WAC Lighting appointed Thomas Wang to international sales manager. Wang is brother to 
Thomas Wang
Wac president Shelley Wang, and the son of co-founders Tony and Tai Wang. He will be based in WAC's international offices in Shanghai, China, and will be responsible for residential and commercial sales. He previously worked in the company's international sales department, and as an accountant and sales assistant.
New York home furnishings showroom building 230 Fifth Avenue hired Matthew Aloisi as creative marketing director. He follows Lucy Zhune, who is leaving the company after six years to become the new marketing manager of The One Group, a high-end hospitality company. Aloisi recently relocated from Ft. Lauderdale, where he spent the past two years working for residential interior design firm J. Alexander Interiors. Aloisi reports to Jane Gural-Senders, executive director of 230 Fifth Avenue.
The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA) elected three current board members to new Executive Committee positions and five new board members, whose terms will run from July 1 through June 30, 2013. Christina Miller, senior vice president, Cartoon Network Enterprises moves from vice chairperson to chairperson. Maura Regan, vice president and general manager, Global Consumer Products, Sesame Workshop becomes vice chairperson. Stu Seltzer, partner, Marketing on Demand LLC becomes executive committee liaison to the board of directors. Joining the board are: Peter Boder, founder and CEO, United Labels AG; Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager, CBS Consumer Products; Bettina Koeckler, senior vice president licensing, EMEA, Chorion; Charles Schnaid, senior partner, Head Royalty Compliance Group, Miller, Kaplan, Arase & Co. LLP and Kotaro Sunamori, president, SUN R&P Co. Ltd.
The International Council of Shopping Centers appointed six volunteer officers for the state of New York: Aaron J. Fleishaker, Fairway Markets, New York, is state director; Randolph B. Soggs, Soggs Commercial Properties Inc., New Hartford, NY, is government relations committee chair; Paul Camella, Basser Kaufman Inc., Woodmere, NY, is alliance private sector co-chair; Michelle K. Mooney, national development council, New York, is the alliance public sector co-chair; Lisa Rosenshein, SCLS, Rosenshein Associates, Mamaroneck, NY, is operations chair and Dovid M. Spector, National Realty and Development Corp., Purchase, NY, is next generation chair. In addition, three members have been appointed as Division Officers for the Eastern Division: G. Lamont Blackstone, G.L. Blackstone & Associates, Mount Vernon, NY ,is division alliance private sector co-chair, Richard S. Sosnovy, Dress Barn, Suffern, NY, is division retail chair; and Jason Richter, CLS, Jimmy Jazz/Man Alive/SandD Stores, Brooklyn, NY, is division next generation chair.
