Shopatron Same Stores Sales Up 15 Percent
GDA Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 8/2/2010 4:04:53 PM
San Luis Obispo, CA — Online retail site Shopatron, which allows vendors to take online orders and pass them to local retailers for fulfillment, said its second quarter same-store sales increased by 15 percent across all client stores, compared to the same period last year. The juvenile industry outperformed the average at 20 percent, and home furnishings at 19 percent.
Although Shopatron attributes some of the growth to a general increase in consumer spending, it attributed the remainder to an increase in online sales in industries that have been slower to sell online.
