Bradford, Franchise India Form Joint Venture

New Delhi - Bradford Licensing LLC inked a Joint Venture agreement with India's largest franchise conglomerate, Franchise India Group, to form Bradford License India (BLI).

Michelle Minieri, president, Bradford Licensing, said in a statement, "India is a country filled with opportunities for licensing, and ready for significant expansion. As a byproduct of globalization, increased competition and industrialization, licensing is becoming critical to the success of business growth. [...] The process of building the infrastructure is now underway with critical team members working throughout India to acclimate the local team to the world of licensing."

Bradford License India will focus on comprehensive licensing programs, including design, development, and management of the acquired licensing property. Services for licensors and licensees will include research & program feasibility, devising licensing model and strategy, legal assistance, designing style guides, licensee recruitment and management, furnishing financial obligations and full project management.
