GDA Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 9/8/2010 10:55:27 AM
Frankfurt, Germany — Caroline Till and Kate Franklin of British style agency The Future Laboratory will discuss trend directions at the 2011/2010 Heimtextil Trend Reconnect, during the Heimtextil fair in Frankfurt in January. Sobriety, Mix Mash, Utility and Wilderness are the four directions. Sobriety focuses on the return to the essential and the traditional; Mix Mash combines high-tech with craftsmanship, new with old; Utility is about simplicity, accessibility and an invitation to use and Wilderness is a return to where we came from, being at one with nature.
Messe Frankfurt is offering The Trend Book, which brings together the ideas and theories from the seminar, for sale. To order the book, call 011.49.69.7575.4010 or email tickets@messefrankfurt.com.
Heimtextil is scheduled for January 12–15, 2011.
