Caroline KennedyEvery year it seems that judging the entries for Gifts & Decorative Accessories Retailer Excellence Awards gets more difficult. Why? In addition to a continually growing volume of entries, I think the entries are increasingly more sophisticated and retailers are more inventive about what they are doing to attract customers, promote their businesses and increase sales. The decision between "finalist" and "winner" becomes a very narrow margin. This year's judging was a lively session with a lot of discussion and re-evaluation of categories and entries.
