June 28, 2016,
Gourmet du Village's Mike Tott (l) and daughter, new president, Ashely Tott.
Under the new management, Mike will continue with majority ownership as CEO, but focus on his passion as creative director.
Ashely started her career as a trained chef, before joining the family business 13 years ago. Throughout this time, she has gained experience in purchasing, planning and QC and most recently took the lead in business development and sales for the company. The company recently brought in new employees to its Purchasing & Planning and Quality Control and is looking to grow its Operations and Sales teams.
“Ashley is now 34, the same age I was when we began,” said Mike Tott. “She has grown up with the business. From when we started till quite recently Baby Boomers like myself have been the driving force in the economy and our business, but that is changing, we too have to change and invest to meet the changing market place.”
