Major gift vendor Midwest-CBK named Kelly Corcoran to the company's newly created position of design trend manager. Kelly CorcoranKelly CorcoranCorcoran will research design, color and product trends and partner with the company's in-studio design team and product managers on product design innovation and collection concept development for holiday, gift, home décor and outdoor living lines. Corcoran previously served as creative manager for Target, packaging design manager for Albertsons/SuperValu and account manager for LAGA, a branding agency where she worked to develop national brands such as Hanes, Hillshire Farm, International Paper and Shell Oil.

 

Young adult accessories vendor Room It Up appointed Larry Lucas as the first recipient of it's annual Sales Rep of the year award. Lucas has represented the line since 2006. Lucas is a longtime veteran in the gift and apparel industries with a career spanning over 40 years. He has been president of the rep group he founded, Larry Lucas Inc., for 33 years. Larry Lucas Inc. is comprised of 11 road sales reps servicing gift and children's specialty apparel retailers in the southeast and TOLA territories.

 

Gift and seasonal decor vendor C & F Enterprises Inc. and Gallerie II appointed Kimberly Haden to the newly created role of marketing communications and innovation manager. She will lead the companies' social media, online marketing strategies and corporate communications.

Specialty chocolate and fruit vendor Cape Cod Provisions LLC added Kristin McGillicuddy to its sales and marketing department. She brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing in food, pet and juvenile products. She will be responsible for growing business through new customers and channels, new products, and strategic sales and marketing tactics.

 

Heather Grant joined Sandow Media, parent company of Gifts & Decorative Accessories, as conference and events Heather GrantHeather Grant manager for the Sandow Media Retail Group. The Retail Group includes Furniture/Today, Home Accents Today, Casual Living, Home Textiles Today, Gifts & Decorative Accessories and Interior Design. Grant will be responsible for coordinating all events and programs developed and produced by the Retail Group for many of the brands within the group. She reports to Connie Lineberry, vice president of marketing of Sandow Media Retail Group. Previously, she was event planner/account services coordinator for Apple Rock Displays and coordinated and managed more than 40 events per year for client Lowe's Home Improvement. Prior to that, she was admissions marketing and events coordinator at High Point University.
