Evergreen Enterprises Inc. named John Toler as COO. Toler previously servied as vice president of sales. In his new position he will manage the company's domestic and international operations and play a greater role in overseeing Evergreen's merger and acquisition efforts, among other responsibilities. Evergreen also hired Randy Egan as vice president of sales. He will run the company's direct sales force. Egan most recently held the position of executive vice president of sales at Russ Berrie U.S. Gift Inc., after serving as vice president of sales with The Encore Group, which acquired Russ Berrie Inc. in 2008. Egan was extensively involved with the acquisition. Egan and Toler will both work closely with Evergreen business development manager and former investment banker Chris Wornom, who was hired earlier this year to refine and facilitate the company's acquisition strategy.

Road Runners LLC, a sales representative agency in the New York/New Jersey and Southeast markets, hired Angela Schmook as a new sales manager. Schmook brings 12 years of road experience with Appelman Schauben, where she worked in Central Florida, managing more than 500 accounts.

Trade Associates Group Ltd. (tag) named Floyd Sullivan marketing manager for the company's line of gifts, decorative accessories and tabletop products, as well as its tfg line of contemporary furniture. Sullivan's duties will include all tag and tfg advertising, public relations, e-marketing, trade show planning and other wholesale support responsibilities. Most recently Sullivan worked as an independent consultant to a variety of companies in the tabletop, beverage distribution and graphic arts industries. Previously he was director of communications at Pfaltzgraff and then Lifetime Brands' Direct Division, and director of marketing at Noritake.
