Kinkade Gets Jail Time for Driving Drunk

Carmel, CA - Thomas Kinkade, noted licensed artist in the gift industry, has been sentenced to jail for drunk driving, according to New York magazine. Kinkade, who was arrested for a DUI this summer, will spend 10 days in jail, nine months in a DUI offender program and five years of court probation, as well as paying a fine of approximately $2,000. Kinkade's blood alcohol level was at twice the legal limit.
