Jenny Hammons Company Acquires Ted Weinstein and the Company he keeps

GDA Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 1/28/2011 4:34:33 PM

Seattle, WA - Gift sales agency Jenny Hammons Company will take over general operations for fellow rep group Ted Weinstein and the Company he keeps on February 1. The company is made up of two divisions, Jenny Hammons & Associates in California and Jenny Hammons Northwest. Ted Weinstein and the Company he keeps will comprise the third division.

Weinstein's company will continue to operate under the same name. All of Weinstein's current reps and staff are committed to staying on under the new management, and the showroom will remain open. There will be no change in the lines offered at this time, which are: Workman Publishing, Random House, Harper Collins, Galison, Sterling and eeboo.

"Ted is an industry icon at this point and deserves the opportunity to retire. We plan to keep everything operating with the same wonderful manufacturers, sales associates and showroom manager that have worked with Ted for many years. We plan to update and improve all systems, marketing and communications," said Jenny Hammons, including giving Weinstein a website, Facebook and Twitter presence. "Ted and Betsy will remain involved through the first transitional year to help us stay focused on continuing success."

A celebration and ribbon cutting will take place during the Seattle International Gift Fair, February 2-8.
