addition is new customizable photo albums. Retailers can drag-and-drop product images into an album, create custom captions and send to their customers via email, Facebook and Twitter. Customers can reserve a product right from within the album. Additional updates include new seasonal templates, expanded reporting capabilities, and an enhanced text editor. SnapRetail CEO Ted Teele said in a statement, "The enhancements we have announced today came directly from our retailers' suggestions."
Brandwise Inc. introduced its new Visual Merchandiser technology on a slate platform. Sales reps can visually present product on a slate, a single-pane touch screen running full Windows 7, and order it with just the touch of a finger. Brandwise's ShowroomElite technology is used for the application, but the user interface has been graphically enhanced to include Visual Merchandiser. "The response to Visual Merchandiser on the slate platform during the Atlanta show was overwhelming," says Todd Litzman, president of Brandwise. "Our team worked with several sales agencies, suppliers, and reps to demonstrate the new platform, and each was impressed by the ease of use and graphical product presentation. Our goal for every Brandwise technology has always been to streamline the sales process and to free up valuable time for reps to write more orders. We know this new application will do just that."
