Gift for Life Changes Leadership, Expands Board

New Chair, New Vice Chair, Four New Board Members Added

New York - Gift for Life, the gift, stationery and home decor industries' leading charitable organization, has named a new chairperson and vice-chair to lead and promote the organization. Four new members have also been added to the board.

Former vice-chair Leslie Nathan-Street moves into the role of chairperson. With more than 20 years of gift and home industry experience, Nathan-Street was most recently president of Gift and Home Channel.

Stu Teller, managing partner of Right Angle Strategies, has been elected to the position of vice chair. Teller has more than 30 years of experience in the gift, home decor and collegiate industries.

"I am excited to help lead an organization that continues to make such a difference," said Leslie Nathan-Street, Gift for Life chairperson. "We have tremendous momentum and will continue to work tirelessly with the generous help of board members and our industry partners."

Four new members joining the board are: Dorothy Creamer and Sarah Schwartz, editors of industry trade publications; George Kacic, vice president of sales and marketing for Ganz and Suzanne Pruitt, owner of Marsh Meadows Marketing and representing Urban Expositions, as well as her own interests.

Through hosting regional events and other activities, Gift for Life's fund-raising activities benefit DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. Working together, Gift for Life and DIFFA will continue to raise funds for HIV/AIDS service and education programs.
