Marian Heath Greetings Names New CEO

New capital investment primes company for growth

Wareham, MA - Marian Heath Greeting Cards has named Marc Salkovitz as its new CEO. Salkovitz brings 25-plus years of sales, marketing and management experience to the position. He will focus creating on a long term strategy, emphasizing Marian Heath's 70-plus years in the greeting card industry and maximizing all of the brands in its portfolio.

In addition, the company's investment partner has committed to providing additional financing to fund the company's growth plans. Positive changes in the company over the last 24 months have set the stage for growth in areas that the company could not have supported in the past. The additional financing will help with significant upgrades companywide and includes new systems and departmental restructuring.

 

 

The company also announced realignments to the leadership team including: Patricia Vieira, vice president finance; Tony Tiberii, executive corporate finance advisor; Molly Delmastro, vice president creative and Mark Cote, vice president supply chain management. Ken Carmel, who was promoted to executive vice president of sales in August 2010, continues to lead the national sales team.
