Pier 1 Raises More Than $1 Million for UNICEF

New York - Pier 1 Imports presented a check for $1.3 million to U.S. Fund for Unicef from the sale of UNICEF greeting cards during the 2010 holiday season. The store began selling the cards in 1985 and is now the world's largest retailer of UNICEF greeting cards, having raised more than $28 million to date.
