Professional Marketing Transitions to New Ownership

Diane Carnevale Jones forms Carnevale Jones Group

GDA Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 5/5/2011 11:25:20 AM

Grand Rapids, MI - Professional Marketing, a gift and home industry public relations and marketing communications firm, owned by Diane Carnevale Jones has been sold to the firm's longtime employees Jillian Lambert and Gwen Vryhof.

Carnevale Jones has sold the firm in order to form a new business, Carnevale Jones Group, where she will focus on strategic consulting and other individual projects for businesses in the gift and home industry, non-profit and trade organizations, and other consumer product manufacturing, retail and technology businesses.

"When I started my business 29 years ago, it was my intent to work independently," says Carnevale Jones. "But over the years, my business evolved into an agency, and I thrived in this environment with my colleagues and clients. In recent years, however, I identified special projects and unique opportunities that would best be handled independently, so I made the decision to return to my original business model as a sole practitioner."

Under the leadership of Lambert and Vryhof, who both have extensive professional and academic experience in public relations and marketing communications, Professional Marketing will continue to provide high quality services for which is known and respected.

Professional Marketing will continue to handle the day-to-day operations of the Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA), while Carnevale Jones will continue as executive director of the organization.
