Los Angeles - In efforts to bolster research and treatment for breast cancer, Dogeared Jewelry & Gifts and Shameless Jewelry are selling breast-cancer gear, with proceeds going to charities.
Dogeared celebrated its 20-year anniversary by extending its Karma in Action program, which has campaigned for breast cancer relief for the last six years. Previewing a new "Wish For A Cure" necklace and "Make A Wish Hope" pin at the August trade shows, Dogeared will sell these products and donate proceeds to Stand Up to Cancer, one of four organizations in Dogeared's Karma in Action program.
Shameless has also campaigned for breast cancer treatment and research. In efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer, Shameless has sold a "Go Pink" ID Bracelet, sending 20 percent of its sales to the Breast Cancer Charities of America.
"We all have friends, family and co-workers whose lives have been affected by this disease and we wanted to do our part in finding a way to bring an end to the suffering caused by breast cancer," said Shea Curry, founder and designer of Shameless Jewelry.
