Toy Shippers Association Partners with Laufer Group

Playthings Staff -- Gifts and Dec, 7/19/2011 11:06:12 AM

New York - The non-profit Toy Shippers Association (TOYSA) inked a partnership deal with Laufer Group International, allowing TOYSA members access to Laufer's international logistics services. Laufer Group will provide TOYSA members with Full-Container-Load options outside of their direct carrier program, a new option for TOYSA members, and will provide access to rates and services with every major carrier in the Transpacific trade. Laufer's service portfolio includes air freight, customs brokerage and LCL (less than container load) services.

"Our new partnership with Laufer has allowed us to craft a unique logistics delivery model previously not available. It enables shippers to add value, opportunity, visibility and accountability to their supply chain," Dave Akers, managing director for TOYSA, said in a statement.
