Teters Floral Acquires Napa Home & Garden Assets

Napa brand and company founders to be part of new organization

Duluth, GA - The assets of home and garden company, Napa Home & Garden Inc. have been acquired by Teters Floral Product Inc., known for its permanent floral and decorative accessories products. As part of the its chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings filed July 5, Napa had entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement to sell its core home and garden business to Teters. The transaction was finalized on August 4. Inventory and assets related to Napa Home & Garden's FireLite and NAPAFire gel fuel product lines were excluded from the sale.

Now doing business as Napa Home & Garden, a division of Teters Floral, Napa is continuing to take orders as normal and shipping them from its Duluth, GA, facility. Napa founders, Jerry and KC Cunningham, will direct Napa operations and the company will maintain showrooms at the Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, High Point and Los Angeles markets. Additionally, Napa will continue to utilize its sales force of more than 75 independent representatives.
